Tropical Dome Leads 414 Day Beer Releases from Component Brewing

Tropical Dome: A Unique Beer Collaboration in Milwaukee

Celebrate 414 Day in style with one of the coolest collaborations in Milwaukee! Bay View’s Component Brewing and the Friends of the Domes have teamed up to create a trio of brews, each representing one of the iconic domes. This exciting release hits the brewery at the Lincoln Warehouse on April 14 and is a must-try for beer enthusiasts.

Flavors Inspired by the Domes

Each beer in this unique collection is inspired by ingredients found within the respective domes. Brewer Doug Krysiak emphasizes that while the ingredients were not harvested from the Domes, the goal was to showcase the diverse flavors that the Domes embody. So, get ready to experience the tastes of the Desert Dome, Floral Dome, and the standout, Tropical Dome.

Meet the Trio: Desert Dome, Floral Dome, and Tropical Dome

  • Desert Dome: A refreshing 4.9% ABV gose with agave and lime, capturing the essence of arid landscapes.
  • Floral Dome: A vibrant 7% hazy IPA utilizing Phantasm hops, bringing a floral burst to your palate.
  • Tropical Dome: The star of the show, a 5.6% fruited sour infused with soursop, guava, and pineapple, evoking a taste of Jamaica.

Special Offer for 414 Day

All three beers will be available on draft and in cans to Mug Club Members starting April 12. For the general public, they go on sale precisely at noon on 414 Day, followed by retail distribution. The enthusiasm doesn’t stop there! Component Brewing will donate $1 per draft of any of the three dome beers to support the Friends of the Domes. Additionally, each can includes a QR code that links to information about supporting this fantastic cause.

From Brooklyn to Milwaukee: Brewer Doug Krysiak’s Journey

Krysiak, originally from Brooklyn and an alumnus of UWM, has lived in various Milwaukee neighborhoods and has a strong connection to the city. While creating these unique brews, he reflects on his journey and the inspiration behind the project: paying homage to Milwaukee and its vibrant community on 414 Day.
