Sprecher Brewing’s Traveling Beer Garden
Looking for a fun way to enjoy the summer evenings? Sprecher Brewing’s Traveling Beer Garden is setting up shop at Kops Park (3321 N. 86th St.) until July 21. This beer tasting event is a perfect opportunity to unwind with friends. Weekday hours are 5 to 9 p.m., while weekends offer extended enjoyment from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Old School Beer Night at The Tap Yard
If you’re nostalgic for the classic brews, make your way to The Tap Yard – West Bend (4875 County Hwy. Z) for Old School Beer Night. Starting at 6 p.m., you can savor nostalgic brews like Schlitz, Pabst, Blatz, Old Milwaukee, and Old Style. It’s sure to be a memorable night for beer lovers.
Don’t Miss the Cashmere Sweater Release
Beer aficionados, rejoice! The much-anticipated Cashmere Sweater imperial IPA is making its return to 1840 Brewing. Available in a limited bottle release, this crowd-favorite will be on tap at both 1840 Brewing locations (342 E. Ward St. and 401 N. Main St., West Bend).
New Beer Releases and Tasting Events
This week is jam-packed with exciting beer tasting events. New Barons Brewing Co-op (2018 S. 1st St.) is debuting a French Pilsner, part of its Lager Lab Pilot Series. Meanwhile, Explorium Brewpub (5300 S. 76th St.) is celebrating the release of their Nectar Collector, a New England IPA brewed with orange blossom honey. The party kicks off at 4 p.m.
Fox Point Beer Garden and Sampling Events
Friday brings more opportunities to enjoy beer tasting events. Head to the Fox Point Beer Garden at Longacre Pavilion (7343 N. Longacre Rd.) where New Barons Brewing Co-op will be pouring beers from 5 to 9 p.m. You can also sample brews from Enlightened Brewing at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) between 3 to 5 p.m.
Family Fun and Beer on Saturday
Saturday offers a blend of family fun and beer tasting. The Riverwest Food Truck Rally returns to Gathering Place Brewing (811 E. Vienna Ave.), featuring food trucks and the release of four new beers. The Tap Yard – West Bend turns family-friendly with games, face painting, a bounce house, and of course, beer for the adults.
Try Sour Brews and Craft Wire Art
Love sour beers? The Tap Yard – Waukesha (1927 E. Sunset Dr.) is hosting Sour Beer Day with selections from Young Blood Beer Company and 3 Sheeps Brewing. Alternately, you can get crafty with Sip and Twist at Indeed Brewing Company (530 S. 2nd St.). For $40, you’ll craft a wire art tree and enjoy a refreshing beverage.
Sunday Beer Tasting Events
Sunday brings Taste of Washington County to The Tap Yard – West Bend. Enjoy offerings from five local food trucks while sipping on great beer. Over at New Berlin Historic Park (19765 W. National Ave.), Component Brewing will be pouring beer from 1 to 4 p.m., with the added attractions of live music and free ice cream for the kids.
